Product Registration: Prevent a Fire, Save a Life

Registering your products has never been more important for a household owner than it is today.

We rely on household goods such as tumble driers, washing machines, toasters and many more, every single day, without much thought as to any possible faults that the appliance might have.

Recently, a Boxo kitchen blender caused a house fire in Islington due to an electrical fault in the blender. The fire unfortunately resulted in the death of the homeowner.

It is believed that roughly 650 of these blenders have been sold and are now being withdrawn by the company. The Islington council has asked all who own a Boxo kitchen blender to dispose of it for their own safety.

Product registration is a crucial safety procedure, as it allows manufacturers to contact you should they identify any issues with your appliances.

It is important for all household owners to know their household appliance; whether a product has experienced an electrical fault, or if the product has been recalled in the past.
